The City of Huntington is seeking bids for construction of a reinforced 393 linear foot concrete extension to the walking trail at Centennial Park. Bids should be submitted by 1:00 pm June 10, 2026, to Bill Stewart, PO Box 349 or 802 Hwy 69S, Huntington, Texas, 75949.
Bid Specs:
Total length – 393 feet.
Two concrete bridges with 24 inch culverts
Extend trail on the south side of the park 324 feet from end of sidewalk at pavilion (to the right of the pavilion)
Extend trail on the north side of the park 69 feet
Include a 26 foot diameter loop on each side
Build sidewalk level to 1 inch above ground surface
3500 psi concrete to be used
Include rebar and expanded metal
Total job is estimated at five days, but to be completed no later than Friday, June 26, 2026
